Merry Go CECES

CECES “Cultivate Oneself, Keep One’s Family in Order, Caring Family”
Promotes Three Major Messages “Noble Character, Healthy Life, Happy Families” to Hong Kong

“Caring Family” is a diversity-wide family activity, aim at promoting three messages that is “Cultivate Oneself, Keep One’s Family in Order and Caring Family” to all districts in Hong Kong. Through holding activities with the theme “Head of Family Love”, CECES has visited various districts to support families in different districts and inject positive energy into the families and community.

In April 2014, CECES held the “Caring Family Opening Ceremony and Hundred Surname Family Party 2014” in the Nina Fossil Garden, Ninar Tower in Tsuen Wan, and officially launched the “Carring Family” program. Throughout the year, CECES successfully hosted many “Caring Family” activities, including the “Carring Family Love Storytelling Workshop”, the charity cooking workshop sponsored by the Gas Cooking Center, the “Write a Mad MAD Story” sponsored by the Deutsche Bank and the Hong Kong CECES Children English Speech & Singing Competition, etc. CECES has already spread the message of “Caring Family” to every family, social enterprise, business sector and all districts in Hong Kong.
CECES has been recognized by the society as it has been providing services and “Caring Family” activities for over 37 years. In December 2014, CECES was awarded the “Sports Social Charity Awards 2013” by the Association of Distinguished Corporation.

The wonderful programmes include “Weird Science STEAM Corner”, “Play to Gain MAD English”, Environmental Protection Planting Workshop “Vegan Planting” and “Fit for Fun”.

HKCECES Children Speech and Singing Competition

Activity Name: HKCECES Children Speech and Singing Competition 

This annual competition is organized by CECES since 2010. The event boosts children’s confidence when they perform on stage. It provides the opportunity for children to recite a poem and sing a song in front of an appreciative audience, some of them accompanied by simple props. We encourage a loving bonding between parents and children as they practice their child’s performance. CECES Caring Family Storytelling Workshop

Project Name: CECES Caring Family Storytelling Workshop

Duration: 2018-Present

Objectives: The Caring Family Storytelling Workshops aim at training parents and volunteers to tell stories with style and flair. Participants will be inspired and stimulated to think deeply about story-telling as an artistic genre. They promote the Caring Family campaign themes of Family Unity, Human Values, and Healthy Living to children and community groups. Certified story-teller promoted healthy living habits, enhanced children’s understanding of universal values, and helped children to show care and respect towards family members and friends.

Beneficiary: over 500 families
